stolen from toast4all (who I miss like freakin hell!) 1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
Finally found a book that I like that wasn't a manga. Ate some healthier foods. turned 17, became a senior

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Absolutely not...I've actually gained weight instead -_- I've learned that resolutions only depress you when the new new year rolls around.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Not really "close" per say, but quite a few girls at school did, and my boyfriend's sister..

4. Did anyone close to you die?
George Carlin, but I wouldn't say that's close.

5. What countries did you visit?
USA 8D

6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
Money, a high school deploma, a job, and skinner thighs.

7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched on your memory, and why?
I guess you could say September 22 because it was my and richard's 2 year anniversary and November 4, because we finally got a president that's worth something.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Can't think of anything in particular, but I suppose being in the play, but I wouldn't really say it was that much of an accomplishment.

9. What was your biggest failure?
well, I just found out that I have a D in expos writing, so I'd seriously call that a HUGE failure!.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Not that I can think of, I'm overly safe

11. What was the best thing you bought?
hmmm...I didn't have any money to really buy anything, so I can't really think of anything other than art supplies, but that's pretty much what all of my funds are going to lately.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Kyle because I really think he's being responsible in the big apple.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Lindsey, a girl in my drama class, but she's getting better.

14. Where did most of your money go?
what little funds I had mostly went to gifts or art supplies

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Seeing Avenue Q on Broadway :D

16. What song will always remind you of 2008?
I can't think of any *is copping out*

a) happier or sadder? Happier, overall.
b) thinner or fatter? fatter :(.
c) richer or poorer? about the same, but I suppose you could say that I'm richer because I finally opened a checking/savings account.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
working, loosing weight, trying

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Procrastinating (in all ways, shapes, and sizes)

20. How ~~will~~ you spend Christmas?
woke up slightly earlier than usual (although not early by anyone's standards) did the whole gift thing with mom and boyfriend, called dad and brother, had YET another awkward dinner with boyfriend's family, saw <i>Yes Man</i> and stayed the night at boyfriend's house

21. Did you fall in love in 2008?
No...I did that in '06

22. How many one-night stands?
Zero

23. What was your favorite TV program?
Scrubs and firefly

24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
No, I think I've gotten over that...I say that I do, but I really dont.

25. What was the best book you read?
<i>Howl's Moving Castle</i> is now my favorite book (I don't read much btw, but I really liked it ).

26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
I don't know if I discovered them in '07 or early '08, but Streetlight mannifesto. I finally broke down and listened to a local band called "Do Androids Dream" and I really liked it!

27. What did you want and get?
my own room...too bad I had to loose my brother :(

28. What did you want and not get?
To see my brother, but he's comming down for my graduation (Holy hell, I'M GONNA GRADUATE)

29. What was your favorite film of this year?
I really liked Quarentine, but I wouldn't really say it was my "favorite"...Kung Fu Panda pretty much rocked....and....um..Mama Mia was pretty awesome...That all I can think of right now

30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I don't really remember...I know that I got an extra 30 minutes on my curfew, but I honestly don't remember many events other than hanging out with my boyfriend...I turned 17.

31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
I guess getting a job that doesn't suck

32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?
Overalls intered the mix

33. What kept you sane?
Friends and discovering OneManga.com

34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
I don't really know...I suppose that I admired Barak Obama, but I woudn't really say I "fancy" him.

35. What political issue stirred you the most?
the election of course.

36. Whom did you miss?
my brother....stupid New York.

37. Who was the best new person you met in 2008?
ehhh...everyone I really like I already knew.
